My first post

After finishing the book, I found myself comparing the work to great works like the grapes of wrath or the jungle book.  This seems to be a work that is very representative of the american dream aspirations that many americans look for.  This work was insightful in how the individual can aspire to overcome many obstacles to find enlightenment in life.
