My Blog.

So officially, My blog sucks.  I find it very difficult to capture the experiance of the blog.  I guess its great and all to read and try to understand what and why other people think, but somehow I dont believe the entire experiance of blogging is adding anything to the world.  Maybe I havent looked around at enough of them.  When I think on the experiance of blogging I feel somehow claustriphobic, or constricted when dealing with my own writing.

This quarter has seemed to be fast and furious yet I believe the the experiances that were shared  from our guest speakers will be remembered most.  There view point is unique in my everyday life and can only rarely be experianced.  And so many thanks to Paco and Kohl for there generosity in the sharing of there knowledge and experiances.

In the end I guess that is what blogging is the sharing of knowledge.  I guess if twitter and facebook can incite change for people as in the goings on in the middle east, or convey messages to family members in disasters like Japans Tsunami, then maybe another internet technology can unite us in a another way.

  1. First, I have to say the fishes are so cute so vivid!
Second, I think blogging is fine if you really start to put some time on that. You can actually start with anything like what do you like? And gossip about some news haha well the advices is not for this class.

  2. I feel like blogging is an easy and different way for people to connect without having to travel and meet. I took most away from the guest speakers as well. I really listened to what they had to say and actually was really inspired. Blogging has its perks, but the best way to get your message across is to physically be there to present it and share ideas.

  3. I have to honestly say that i personally did not take anything away from the blogging. I personally have never thought highly of blogging, and will admit that that ideal probably got in the way to some extent. Not to say that it could not be a very useful tool, it just wont be for me. I tend to agree with Sean when he says that it make him feel claustrophobic.

  4. Yeah, it was the first time I've had a blog (although I posted on friend's blogs in the past) and also the first time using it in class. It worked for some and not for others, so I am not if and how I will use them next quarter. One student suggested chat rooms or other gathering room kind of electronic spaces.
